We invite you to Hogwarts - an exciting musical journey with J.K. Rowling's most popular characters. Unforgettable fun for the whole family is guaranteed. The evening program includes magical music from the legendary Harry Potter films, performed by the extraordinary Mystery Ensemble.

The film music was masterfully composed by John Williams. The composer wrote the music at his homes in Los Angeles and Tanglewood and recorded it at Abbey Road and Air Lyndhurst Studios in London in September 2001. The film contains many characteristic leitmotifs, most of which were repeated in the second part of the Harry Potter franchise, “Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets”. The main composition, “Hedwig’s Theme,” can be heard in a slightly modified form in all films. The soundtrack was released on CD on October 30, 2001.

On December 14, 2001, the soundtrack was certified gold in Canada (50,000 units), and in January 2002 in Japan (100,000 units). In 2002, John Williams was nominated for an Oscar for Best Original Score, but lost to Howard Shore, who composed the music for the fantasy film The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring. Music from this film can also be heard at our concerts.

The album was very successful and reached number 48 on the Billboard 200 and number 2 on the Top Soundtracks charts. The album landed at number 19 in the official British charts.
