About event
The city district of Bratislava-Ružinov brings you as part of the International Multigenre Festival Symphony of Arts:
The Music of Michael Jackson
The star of the musical MJ: The Musical from London's WestEnd is coming to Bratislava.
The main idea is simple: we bring the best of the West End musical - with an artist who portrays this role in the musical about Michael Jackson. Another evening of the Symphony of Arts festival will be based on the best of the musical MJ: The Musical, which has already been seen by more than 5 million people around the world. Mitchell Zhangazha - the current West End representative of Michael - will perform together with the Gustav Brom Radio Orchestra conducted by Vlad Valovič, supplemented by a string section and a vocal group. We bring a concert format that preserves arrangements, rhythm and pure sound. The program is based on music - on precise arrangements, precise performance and concert sound, without first-rate imitation.
Mitchell Zhangazha is a British musical actor and singer working in the West End, where he performs in MJ The Musical as Michael. He has been on stage since childhood - according to an interview with LondonTheatre, he made his West End debut as a child in the original cast of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. He has acted in titles such as Dear Evan Hansen (understudy for Evan and Jared), for which he won Best Understudy/Swing at the Black British Theater Awards 2022.
