About event
↓ ↓ Viz česká verze níže ↓ ↓
Join us for a one-off event with the Native American Bare-Wolf, a First Nations artist, art performer and researcher from northern Canada who illustrates native cultural erasure through his photography series and performance art. A Native American from North Western America and a member of the Wolf clan, the performer is "Bare" (naked) of his culture.
PROGRAM:
- We will meet at the newly reconstructed Stanice 6, where the artist will first give a short presentation about the sociocultural situation that triggers his performances.
- We will then head to the park nearby for the performance itself (so remember to dress warmly)
- We will then head back to the cafe for an informal discussion with the artist and curator.
***
“We northern First Nations are a people with almost none of our original culture, but because we have adopted the western approach, we deny the truth. In showing this truth about being culturally naked by being naked, I am being as truthful as possible.”

S potěšením vítáme The Native American Bare-Wolf* zpět v Praze!
