After their impressive concert in 2023, The Necks are returning to Berlin: On October 31st, 2025, the Australian trio will play again in their home port of Neukölln. With hypnotic improvisational jazz they create sound spaces full of tension, depth and surprise. In some moments comparable to the Mühlheim band Bohren & Club of Gore, only less dark.
The Necks are considered masters of the musical long form, their pieces develop slowly but unstoppably. Every performance is unique – a collective process of listening, reacting and transforming. Drummer Tony Buck, whose precise, creative percussion provides central inspiration, contributes significantly to the dynamic development of the soundscapes. Anyone who embarks on their journey will experience music beyond the ordinary.
