After an overwhelmingly positive response from the specialized press and fans in relation to their most recent album, «Aeromantic II», THE NIGHT FLIGHT ORCHESTRA, which features members of SOILWORK and ARCH ENEMY in its lineup, will start 2025 with the Moon Over Europe Tour, a sequence of shows across Europe that includes the Swedish super-group's first performance in Portugal. The show will take place on February 5, 2025, in Sala 2 at LAV - Lisboa Ao Vivo, and, in its luggage, the band brings not only the songs from its most recent album, but also the biggest hits from a career that, for At this point, it is already on its way to two decades of existence.

BIOGRAPHY THE NIGHT FLIGHT ORCHESTRA
Described as “a very fun band, guided by the melody of AOR and classic rock”, THE NIGHT FLIGHT ORCHESTRA come from the city of Helsingborg, Sweden, and have connections with a wide range of bands already established in the heavy music scene, including SOILWORK, ARCH ENEMY, DARKANE and SPIRITUAL BEGGARS, among many others. Emerging in the late 2000s, the collective was nominated for a Swedish Grammy (Grammis) in 2017 for their third album, the acclaimed «Amber Galactic», and achieved acclaim with subsequent releases such as 2018's «Sometimes The World Ain't Enough». , and the epic two-part saga «Aeromantic» and «Aeromantic II», from 2020 and 2021, respectively.
Created in 2007 by Björn Strid and David Andersson, both from SOILWORK, THE NIGHT FLIGHT ORCHESTRA ended up becoming a five-piece group with the addition of Sharlee D'Angelo, from ARCH ENEMY, Richard Larsson and Jonas Källsbäck, and it was with this same lineup that they recorded their debut «Internal Affairs», released by the small Coroner Records in 2012. In 2015, the band expanded the lineup again with the addition of multi-instrumentalist Sebastian Forslund, who made his debut with the release of the second full-length, «Skyline Whispers».
Two years later , the musicians signed a contract with the giant Nuclear Blast Records, which released «Amber Galactic» and saw THE NIGHT FLIGHT ORCHESTRA being nominated for a Grammis. More distinctions marked the arrival of the group's fourth album, 2018's «Sometimes The World Ain't Enough», which featured full-time backing vocalists Anna-Mia Bonde and Anna Brygård. Using the polished production style of '80s pop/rock music as a template, the band released their fifth album, the operatic, air-travel-themed 'Aeromantic', in 2020, and as they began their European tour in support of album, the COVID-19 pandemic was declared.
Faced with the situation, Swedish musicians did not let themselves be discouraged or accept the situation, and decided to do what they do best. Making the most of the time away from the stage, the best remedy was to simply return to the studio and create «Aeromantic II», a sequel album that truly captures what the band represents: being on the move and romanticizing travel, sometimes even with a heart party – always accompanied by the good things in life.
