THE PENGUIN LESSONS by Tom Michell

!!!THURS MTG!!! Last day of a holiday in Uruguay, one last walk along the coast. A young British teacher on a break from his duties in Argentina comes across a daunting scene. Thousands of penguins, victims of human indifference, left on the shore covered in oil and tar. Among all the lifeless bodies, however, his eyes catch movement: one penguin is still alive. The teacher is faced with a choice that, without knowing it, will change his life. A memoir based on a true story.
