About event
Top now with Echoes, more than twenty years after its launch, is like when someone is on the beach with its metal detector looking for some currency or some ring and ends up finding by accident an explosive device of World War II. That album published The Rapture in 2003 demands to be manipulated with the same caution as a missile: the dance-pink energy that still stores inside the first LP of the band, which made them much more than a few outstanding students of Gang of Four in the New York Post 11-S, can trigger at any time.
as if they were fully Potentially explosive musical for its friction between rock and electronics, The Rapture have carefully dose it throughout their career: they only published three albums before volatilizing as a band in 2014 without giving too many explanations. Perhaps because being the authors of generational hymns such as House of Jealous Lovers or How Deep is your love? It was already enough statement. Now they return to act in Barcelona on November 23: Razzmatazz 2 will host its first concert in the city since 2012.
