About event
Berlin's No. 1 ska band is back – for one night only!
The Special Guests feat. Willie Ocean will have a rare meeting at Berliner Chocolate on December 20, 2025. This time, in addition to frontman and singer Willie Ocean, the band's founding member and first singer, Leon Ilsen aka Don Leone (1994-2005), is also there. Sometimes Christmas and birthdays are on the same day.
Actually, after five albums and 15 years on tour, the heroes of the Third Ska Wave had already said goodbye to their well-deserved offbeat retirement. Every now and then, on selected occasions, the men revive old hits like “Waiting”, “Beetroot” or “Forget it” live. They ensure a memorable dance party between ska and reggae, rocksteady and up-tempo swing. There isn't a dry eye in the house and not even the Fred Perry shirt.
