How can you face structures that oppress us and overlook our needs? With a fictitious document, Ane Hjort Guttu presents an example of radical self -organization and creation of a parallel "anti -structural" in the environment of the Art Academy. Her film Manifesto reflects recent changes in artistic education in Scandinavian countries, which, in addition to the new concept of teaching, has also transformed into new architecture of school buildings. This, although she wants to be open, multifunctional and inclusive, acts as an effective tool of restrictions and control. (27 min, 2021) takes place at the High Art School, which at first glance acts as a faculty of fine art at a large, consolidated university. In secret, however, it acts as an autonomous, experimental school with its own rules of teaching, evaluating, reporting, planning, communicating students and managers: "Pseudodekan" externally acts as the Faculty of Faculty, but student and employment chose another, unofficial rector. The University Digital Platform informs about official educational subjects, while “analogue” is implemented other, secret projects that only students and teachers know about. Preparation of food in the school building is not allowed, so the student has built a mobile kitchen hidden in the exhibition panels. And since she is convinced that art education should be open to everyone, he invites people to school secretly. He works with various media, but in recent years it has focused mainly on film and video, from investigative documents to poetic fiction. In his work, he deals with topics such as the relationship between freedom and power, economy and public space, social changes and limits of action. Guttu is also a writer and curator, in 2013 she won an artistic doctorate and currently works as a professor at the National Academy of the Arts in Oslo.
