About event
The following sessions of Poetry Talks Prague we will be discussing T.S. Eliot’s The Waste Land.
We’ll be reading and discussing the poem together on the following dates:
April 6th: I. THE BURIAL OF THE DEAD
April 20th: II. A GAME OF CHESS
May 4th: III. THE FIRE SERMON
May 18th: IV. DEATH BY WATER & V. WHAT THE THUNDER SAID
You can prepare by reading each section beforehand if you wish to, or we just read it together in the session to make sense of it. Whatever you prefer.
Poetry Talks Prague is a poetry discussion group that fosters a deeper understanding and appreciation of poetry. We believe that sharing interpretations and engaging in open dialogue allows us to uncover language’s beauty, complexity, and playfulness and other people’s beauty, complexity, and playfulness.
To join or if you have any questions, please contact us at [email protected] or through our Facebook or Instagram.
