About event
The third Writer’s Room is happening on Thursday, December 19. After an hour of reading to settle in, we’ll dive into our 1-hour mini-workshop, “Arrivals and Observations.”
December is a month of journeys—family visits, travels abroad, or quiet staycations. We’ll capture the moments that ground us, move us, and define our destinations.
Bring your book and a notebook. We’ll provide exercises and take-home inspiration.

The evening will be hosted by novelist Selin Varol of @varolpublishing.
Selin is a Turkish-Dutch writer with a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing.
The Itinerary:
19:00-ish: Doors open for walk-ins.
19:30–20:30-ish: Reading Hour.
Walk-ins welcome anytime during this hour, until 20:30-ish.
20:30–21:30: Interactive Workshop.
Dropping in after the workshop starts isn’t recommended.
21:30-ish: Closing Notes.
