About event
The experimental fraternal duo These New Puritans, chanted by Björk, Massive Attack and Elton John, comes with the fifth studio album Crooked Wing. The album, whose pilot single Industrial Love Song is a Feat with Caroline Polachek, will present in October in MeetFactory ✭
twins Jack and George Barnett laid the foundations of the These New Puritans project around 2006. From the very beginning, the eclectic sound of TNP inspired a wide range of influences; From Wu-Tang Clan to minimalism Steve Reich, post-punk motor skills, electronic avant-garde and IDM to Dancehall and neoclassicism. iconic post-rock group Bark Psychosis. The album, which is officially released on May 23, was born with a bell strike and is just one of the first singles called Bells, which compactly distillants the ethos of the whole record. Rich and yet strictly limited instrumentation (organ, ancient bells and tuned percussion), evil vocals and immersive drones occupy the liminal sound space dividing beautiful and lovely from brutal and dissonant. Monday 27 October.
"With Its Melancholy, Exultation and Occasional Blasts of Menacing Drums, Crooked Wing Is Instantly Recognisable as and These New Puritans Record, But the band Are Now Going to Places HAVE Never Been Been Career. " - The Guardian
