About event
Thom Artway Artway connects modern sound with classic songwriting. In 2015, his hit and Have No Inspiration for more than a year and a half dominated the leading ranks of Czech charts and started his career. The single was followed by two albums in English, for its debut Hedgehog won two Angel Music Awards in 2016. Since 2021, Thom has been moving to his native Czech and the first album in his native language I tear clouds in 2/2024. It is the most diverse and colorful album we have heard from him.
Thom's solo performances with guitar creates an atmosphere of a true connection and closeness between him and listeners. Thom excels in communicating with the audience, people often and like to sing with him. His concerts are a memorable experience filled with sincere joy of music. He says that the songs in Czech allow him to communicate better with Czech listeners. Accompanied by the whole band, the concert gains a more intense and spontaneous dimension. It resulted in Czech sung album I tear clouds (2024), on which he cooperated with Lukáš Chromek and Beata Hlavenková. The top is the single you know what I think now.
Thom is a great performer thanks to its street beginnings and experience from abroad. He regularly played a wall at Lennon in Prague and spent 5 months with street playing in Australia. In July 2017 he became a winner in the Czech Fresh project, which was aimed at supporting the export of Czech music. He played at the legendary Sziget Festival in Hungary, at Festivals in Charles University, Vienna, Paris, Budapest and many other European metropolises. In 2023 he played four concerts in the US. On that occasion, he made a clip of Nebedálky on Manhattan. In the Best Album and Best Singer 2018, 3rd place in the 2016 album category
Czech Nightingale Mattoni 2016 - nomination for discovery of the year
ladder 2015 - winner in the discovery category (Warner Music)
2013 - Still Standing Unknown (EP)
