About event
In the fall of 2025, Thom Artway is embarking on an acoustic tour, Close Up, which will offer fifteen chamber concerts across the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The intimate atmosphere of the concerts allows his older songs and new releases from the forthcoming album Sometimes it's like that to be released on September 19.
Fans have already been able to hear four singles from the new album – It's late at night, You know what you're thinking now, I would like to return and Nona.
It is these that show Thom symbolically returning to his acoustic foundation – the personal, authentic sound that launched him on the scene.
On the album, he collaborated with Štěpán Urban and producer Matěj Soukup, known under the pseudonym Under My Pillow.
Thom Artway – a unique singer and guitarist – combines a modern sound with classic songwriting. His breakthrough came with the hit I Have No Inspiration, which dominated the Czech charts for more than a year and a half and started the path to two albums sung in English. His debut Hedgehog won him two Angel Awards in 2016. He has been writing in Czech since 2021, and the album Trhám nori (February 2024) presented his most varied work. It will be followed up by a new Czech album, Počád to tak mám, which will be released on September 19, 2025.
You can look forward to a musical guest - Slovak singer-songwriter Chris Ellys: https://youtu.be/cluk806eDPI?si=6ka6CMEm-5VXK7vq
