Thom Hoffman & Storioni Trio / Beethoven - wie ben je? / De Oosterpoort

After the successful performance Vleugels, about Robert and Clara Schumann, top actor Thom Hoffman and the renowned Storioni Trio present a storytelling concert about Ludwig van Beethoven. He is perhaps the most beloved composer in classical music history. In beautiful music and text fragments an attempt is made to bring Beethoven a little closer to the human being. Who was he? What do his compositions say about his life? What drove this tortured, tempestuous and sparkling genius? Beethoven – who are you? is somewhere between a concert and a play, a compelling combination of musical mastery and storytelling, a glorious fusion of text, acting and music.
