About event
Adriana Vargová's exhibited works focus on glimpses into the quiet corners of nature. The author's focus is on trees and forest nooks and crannies, still lifes under trees and water levels. In her paintings, you can see the effort for a detailed and realistically true depiction of natural moments. The author occasionally paints watercolors of flowers, but also architecture.
Adriana Vargová is a teacher of mathematics and physics at an elementary school. In her youth, she drew and painted posters for her own pleasure, and later, while preparing for the university entrance exam, she began to relax during her first experiments with oil paints. After 30 long years, she tried to return to painting together with her colleagues who attended ĽŠU, but she was only motivated to return to painting by the opening of school exhibitions at ZŠ Kežmarská 30 and the work of her colleagues. Even though the pieces on display were born for a long time and sometimes did not succeed on the 1st attempt, they bring peace, relaxation and satisfaction to the author.
Opening of the exhibition: 24 November 2025 at 5 pm in Výmenník Štítová
Duration of the exhibition: until 18.12.2025 (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays from 15:00 to 18:00)
