PROGRAM
“Tikun Olam” means “repair the world”. Our two-week German-Italian student exchange project reflects the events of 1943 on Lake Maggiore - historically, psychologically and musically. The project is accompanied by documentary filmmaker Richard Moritz Schmidt. 🎥
In two extensive and prominent events in Berlin and Milan, a composition created specifically for this project (“Tikun Olam” for horn, harp, string quintet, percussion and speaking choir by Andreas Peer Kähler) will have its world premiere. 🎼🌍
👩⚕️ SPECIAL GUEST
Dr. Rossana Ottolenghi, daughter of the only surviving family of the massacre, will be present and speak.
