About event

From July 19, 2024, the international exhibition “Tim Burton’s Labyrinth” can be experienced at the Radsetzerei in Berlin. The exhibition not only delights fans of the American cult director Tim Burton, but also everyone who loves fairytale art and dark, macabre humor. After Madrid, Paris, Brussels and Barcelona and more than 650,000 visitors, the exhibition with around 200 previously unpublished original works of art and life-size installations of his figures is finally coming to Berlin.
The audience experiences a gripping and immersive journey leads to the heart of Tim Burton's artistic vision. The combination of ultra-modern exhibition elements such as video mappings, animated scenographies and light installations with analogue exhibits make visiting the exhibition an unforgettable experience. Visitors walk through the mysterious, dark forest of the “Corpse Bride”, meet the bizarre characters from “Edward Scissorhands”, “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” and “Beetlejuice” and lose themselves in the wondrous worlds of “Alice in Wonderland” and “Nightmare Before Christmas”.
The title “Tim Burton's Labyrinth” of the exhibition, personally authorized by Tim Burton, says it all, because behind every door there is another masterful Burton cosmos that is as entertaining as it is inspiring . The music for the exhibition is provided by Tim Burton's regular film composer, Danny Elfman.

The exhibition is open on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 2:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., and on Fridays and Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. The exhibition is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.
