About event
On Easter Monday, Tim Knol & Blue Grass Boogiemen and André Dieterman present their beautiful photo album in the new KHL. This is of course framed by a full -fledged performance by Tim Knol & Blue Grass Boogiemen!
During this day some photos of André will also be shown and the book is of course for sale.
Tim Knol and the prizes overloaded Blue Grass Boogiemen are back in the theater with Ride Again! Their previous, successful program Lost & Found III tasted like more. The five friends challenge each other with their virtuoso string game; The pleasure splashes off the stage. Especially for this theater tour, the joint album Ride Again, the successor of their acclaimed album Happy Hour, was released.
The musicians dive deep into the rich history of Bluegrass and Country Music. They have a flawless feeling for the fringes of interpreters such as Townes van Zandt, The Stanley Brothers and Flatt & Scruggs. In Ride Again they play songs from their new album and bring music from their heroes, punctuated with anecdotes about them.
honest and unpolished - an intimate look behind the scenes.
photographer André Dieterman followed Tim Knol and the Blue Grass Boogiemen during their theater ttour. With his analog Leica camera, he recorded everything: from the magic on stage and the radiant faces in the audience to the quiet, sometimes raw moments behind the scenes. No glitter and glamor, but a genuine, intimate look at Tour life in the Netherlands.
André shot dozens of photo rolls full and bundled these unique black and white images in a beautiful photo album: Tim Knol & Blue Grass Boogiemen by André Dieterman. This visual report of a special tour brings emotion and craftsmanship together.
tickets, also possible including a theater menu afterwards:
