About event
On Christmas Eve, Berlin saxophonist Tina Tandler and the masters of “Weltenklang” transform the large church at the French Cathedral into a festively lit concert backdrop.
With their extraordinary mix of instruments, they weave a wonderful tapestry of spirited rhythms and spherical sounds, fusing the familiar and the exotic with the inspiration of the moment: powerful, tender, virtuosic - and at times melancholically beautiful.
Do you fancy something special? Then go on a journey with the musicians.
“Weltenklang” is a holiday for the spirit and a feast for the senses.
The musicians of the evening:
Tina Tandler - saxophone, accordion, vocals
Ashraf Sharif Khan - sitar
Christoph Reuter - piano
Thomas Rüdiger - percussion & drums
