The Berlin songwriter Tobias Panwitz (formerly Trailhead) reflects travel experiences and encounters along the way in energetic folk songs and atmospheric ballads flow in. With guitar, harmonica and piano, Panwitz sings about experiences between American country roads, Spanish caminos and paths across the Alps. Influenced by America's classic songwriters of the 60s and 70s, Panwitz combines his English and German songs with stories and stories about the places and moments in which they were created.
Tobias Panwitz has been part of the German folk & songwriter scene for years, has recorded five albums highly praised by the press and is on tour more or less constantly throughout Germany and Europe. Panwitz music always finds a positive response. "Sublime", "Amazing", "Excellent" and "Convincing" were judged by the Berliner Tagesspiegel, Americana UK, the Tip Stadtmagazin and Americana Music Times, for example.
In 2025, Panwitz's first German-language album "Erinnerungenmachen" will be released, which he will present at concerts (almost) everywhere in Germany.
