Toekomstdialoog Amsterdam 1000 jaar

Participate in this future dialogue. Because this year we celebrate that Amsterdam has been in existence for 750 years, we look ahead in these conversations, because Amsterdam is on the move and stands for major challenges: what does the city look like in 250 years? What do we celebrate during Amsterdam1000?

At a time when it sometimes seems as if we are further away from each other, a Socratic dialogue offers the chance to connect. To really listen to each other. To think together. To offer new experiences through community and dialogues and to tackle the major social challenges. To create hopeful perspectives together for the future of Amsterdam.

During this dialogue you will talk to other Amsterdammers about important questions that help to form an image for the future, such as:

What is a good life?
How do we want to live with each other and with nature
or a dialogue that you would like to offer a group of a group and a group of a group and the group would like to bid a group a group and a dialogue a group and you would like to offer a group of a group and a group of a group and a dialogue a group and you would like to offer a group of a group and a dialogue a group and you would like to offer a group of a group with the group of a group and a dialogue and a dialogue a group and you would like to offer a group of a group with the group of a group and you would like to offer a group of a group with the group and you would like to offer a group of a group with the group of a group? Space to think, share stories and discover new perspectives. This is how hopeful desired images of the future are created for our city.

Why participate?
- Your thoughts are heard. The insights from the dialogues are collected and included in the story of Amsterdam1000. They get a place during the future-day and the party on the ring and at the table in the conversations about the future of our city.
- inspire the results. Artists and writers translate the wisdom from the dialogues into creative projects that further shape our city and its future.
- Together we make a difference. The results of the conversations help to come up with new initiatives and give direction to a hopeful desired future.

The municipality of Amsterdam facilitates the Socratic dialogues and offers an experienced moderator from the Socratic Gilde for good guidance. More information about the methodology can be found on Open Research.
