About event
The anniversary of the day when the brave hobbits managed to destroy the Ring in Mount Doom and defeat the dark lord Sauron is approaching again. For fans of the works of J.R.R. Tolkien, this means that on March 25 they will meet over the pages of books and read the most popular excerpts together. This year's theme is "Unexpected Heroes". Tolkien Reading Day, a day when we remember Tolkien's world and work through public reading, has been held around the world since 2003.
Join us and enjoy the books of one of the most distinctive modern writers, whose work has won fans around the world. We look forward to seeing you on Wednesday, March 25 at 18:00 at the Martinus bookstore on Obchodná.
