About event
On October 16, the Tolstoys band will hold a concert in the iconic DK Zrkadlový háj in Bratislava, where they will christen their new album The Buzz.
Their live show is honest and mysterious at the same time, wild but also vulnerable, full of human warmth, sexy rhythms, old charms and new joy. "Hendrix's spirit plays the fujara and Perinbaba sings the blues."
The evening will be opened by their close friend and from Senegal, Alibet.
Since winning the Debut of the Year category at RHA 2017, the Tolstoys have played more than 250 live shows. Their frontwoman Ela Tolstová was selected for Forbes 30 under 30 and after the release of their 2nd album Mirror Me, which was nominated for album of the year 2022, they appeared on the biggest billboard in Times Square in New York.
In 2024 they toured Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Germany and Switzerland and, for the first time, the United Kingdom, where they performed at the prestigious Glastonbury festival.
