About event
Tomáš Palucha – an atmosphere that will absorb you. A melancholic delicacy in which you can feel groping, searching and inner storms. The band's sound grows out of hardcore roots, but it is not confined by any genre cages. In their music, hints of stoner, reggae and no wave naturally intertwine, but it is not an incongruous mixture - rather, it is a unique, strongly authentic musical world.
Tomas Palucha's music could easily be heard in Jim Jarmusch's films - it is a soundtrack to wanderings, unrest and silence between words. Their motto is openness - to sound, people and emotions. Live, they serve an experience that is sometimes raw, sometimes gentle - but always intense. Guitars, sago, drums and sometimes more. Last year they released the excellent album Rauš, which takes them one step further – deeper, wider, freer.
Orient
Originally the Prague band started as a trio exploring the current
electronic scene, but over the years they gradually moved to a more traditionally playing
band with live instruments including brass, percussion or synthesizers, already with five
members. In 2022, they released the Orient LP "Redwood", which brings with it changes
both in the line-up and in style. The peculiar formation went through personnel changes, and welcomed Patrik Šafránek as drummer. Ondrej Šponer then took care of the bass on the recording, who was later replaced by Andrea Rottin in the live line-up. At the present time, the band, with the addition of a new member Štefan Parížko, is finishing its third record "Global Village Coffeehouse", which will be released in the fall and, using similar means of expression, presents a new repertoire that seeks more accessible songwriting as well as more comprehensible and civil Club cards are not valid for this concert.
