About event
Tomáš Vaněk, a singer and actor known for many leading roles in world musicals such as Les Miserables, Phantom of the Opera, Charodějka, Ples Upírů and others, traditionally goes to concerts around the Czech Republic at Christmas.
In Brno at the Bethlehem Church on the street Pellicova's concert will take place for the third time, this time on December 6, 2024 from 7 p.m.
As a guest traditionally the leading actress of the Brno Municipal Theater Ivana Vaňková and the children's choir of the Veveří ZUŠ will perform. Lenka Císařová will accompany on the piano.
During the concert, well-known Christmas songs will be heard, but the most famous hits by Karel Gott will not be missing either. As a musical actor, Tomáš chooses from songs that are characterized by strong lyrics and melodies, moving across many musical genres. For example, you can look forward to compositions such as Tichá Noc in an original arrangement and with new lyrics, the duet Try to believe, which he originally sang with Natália Grossová, Feliz Navidad, Guess from the fairy tale Twelve moons, Christ the Lord was born, or There are holidays, I praise time a hundred times, Pursue happiness and much more.
