Tommy Ashby

Scottish singer Tommy Ashby will perform on November 28 at Café in the forest. His songs are about life, nature and interpersonal relationships that capture with unusual sensitivity and sound sophistication. Tommy's new album Mantis , which he produced himself, is the most personal of his work. It deals with fear of proximity, isolation and the power of human interconnection. The name of the album refers to the song of the same name, inspired by a special metaphor of the Magnifier - the symbol of fear of real intimacy. The album is released on June 6, 2025 at Dance To the Radio. Tommy has a doctorate in psychoacoustics that examines how sound affects our perception and feelings. This expertise transforms into the creation using fine sound layers that draw listeners into the intimate world of his music. His music has over 30 million Spotify playback, performed with artists like Nina Nesbitt, Turin Brakes or Luke Sital-Sing, and Tommy's songs were heard, for example, in Greys' Anatomy, Atypical or Love Island. He will also perform for the first time in the Czech Republic - do not miss this unique debut.
