Ton & Glas: Kreative Reliefkunst Workshop

The participants create a relief wall art piece made of fired clay powder and melted, colored bottle glass shards

This is how real ceramic is created, but different The manufacturing process differs fundamentally from work in traditional pottery and ceramics studios. Participants discover how contrasting materials can come together harmoniously.

This slow, meditative process includes shapes, layers and compositions - here earthy, structured clay particles meet shimmering, transparent glass accents.

No previous artistic knowledge is required - the focus is on calming down and getting involved with textures, colors and design. At the same time, the workshop offers a creative opportunity for recycling: beautiful accents in the work are created from leftover or broken glass.

Each participant goes home with a unique piece of wall art - a small abstract landscape or dream landscape, a textured art object that goes far beyond a simple craft piece.

Course leader: Anna Kranj
Ceramic artist, since Working in ceramics in 2013. In her work, Anna explores the interaction of clay and molten glass, creating unique shapes and textures.
She gives workshops for children and adults in which participants get to know ceramics as a living material and learn Anna's own shaping and decoration techniques.
