About event
The walk will connect two different worlds of Prague – the monumental space of Strahov and the romantic surroundings of the Kinské Garden.
The program will begin at the top of Strahov, where it will present the massive Great Strahov Stadium and the unique genius loci of the Strahov Plain with a number of interesting architectural realizations.
Then the route will move to the Kinské Garden, where local buildings, hidden details and the history of winemaking and horticulture will be presented. Participants will learn about the principles of the English landscape style and will also discover a surprising clue referring to Subcarpathian Rus. The walk will also include views of the Prague panorama from less common perspectives.
