About event
This Cuban musical show is a well -deserved tribute to the Fan Theater of Catalonia, emphasizing the importance these companies have had in the cultural fabric of the country.
As an excuse, they have chosen a comedy of "entrances": Love came with taxi by Rafael Anglada, a play that have been represented by most of the fans of Catalonia, as well as the theater groups of Catalonia. In La Cubana nothing is what it looks like. Of course, they promise a musical `` Made in Cubana '' (in their own way) and made `` a Catalan '', combining the musical genre with all the typical `` ingredients '' of the company: humor, surprises, participation of the public, color, rampant rhythm and, above all, a lot of fun.
This tribute is made at the Teatre Romea, not in an arbitrary way, but because this space has been, by antonomasia, the `` Catalan ”. And because, also, it has been the epicenter of this industry: the Millà publishing house on Sant Pau Street, the Salvador Brothers on Carretes Street, the Peris Brothers on the Board of Commerce or Damart, on La Rambla.
For the Cubana Return to the Romea Theater has a very special meaning, since it was the first place, after doing the theater on the street, where we performed the first space in the street, where we performed in the first space in the street, More, this show allows them to celebrate the 45th anniversary as a theater company.
