For the month of March, we take you into the most mysterious depths of Vienna with an exclusive visit to the Michaelergruft 🕯️, the historic crypt in the heart of the city.
One of the most fascinating and evocative places in the historic center, the Michaelergruft is striking for its extraordinary natural conservation conditions, which have allowed bodies and coffins to pass through the centuries almost intact. An underground journey through history, funerary rituals and little-known curiosities of imperial Vienna.
The guided tour will be conducted directly by the church's internal staff and, for this special edition, will take place in English and German, offering an authentic and in-depth experience. During the visit we will discover the secrets of the crypt, the stories of the noble burials and the particularities that make this place truly unique.
