About event
Writers take their inspiration from a variety of places, but what a dose of inspiration is the incredible city of Prague! This city has inspired writers, with its history of beauty and brutality, to create the most amazing stories - could you be the next on that list?
For this session of Scribbles & Giggles, we’re collaborating with Prague Literary and Historical tours to explore the enchanting city in which we are fortunate to live. We will spend the afternoon in the company of surrealists, journalists, alchemists, and pub-drinkers, learning more about writing from Prague. Then, we will take those stories, and the styles those artists developed, and see if they can inspire us to further storytelling through our writing prompts.
The tour will last for 2 hours, beginning at the Vaclav Havel Square, by the National Theatre at 12:00 (midday). Then we will carry on to the Locus Workspace in Vinohrady at 14:00, where the writing session will continue until 16:00.
Tour: 400czk per person
Writing session: 150czk per person (or 100czk if you have a membership)
