About event
A child without a family. A woman without a love relationship. Poverty artist.
Four myths, four clichés that the painter largely conceived. Almost detective search for director Andrea Sedláčková for registries, archives, research rooms of Czech and French and police funds of the First Republic and Communist. About what can be found in memoir literature, in the correspondence of private and officials. How one can get to never published personal diaries. There were white places and a lot of question marks, but it is still possible to say that Toyen was a child surrounded by a wide family. A woman who experienced many love passions. An ambitious and rolling creature. The artist who could earn her work.
