Tož Welzl

Renewed premiere of the theater play about the fate of a Czech adventurer, traveler and polar Jan Welzl. This extraordinary and truly peculiar man with his fate and colorful narrative became an inspiration for Karel Čapek and his war with the newts. And he was one of Jára Cimrman's character. In the north of our globe he was known under many nicknames, Bear Eater, Arctic Bismarck, Mojok Ojak, but we know him primarily as Eskymo Welzla.
