About event
The result of the successful and long -term cooperation of the Košice Regional Center of Crafts ÚĽUV and the School of Art industry is a tour of the final works of students of the school -leaving graduate of the Department of clothing design. Under the leadership of teachers, they were looking for inspiration in traditional crafts, patterns and techniques. The exhibition "Tradition in clothing" installed in the ÚĽUV gallery at Mäsiarska 52 in Košice is a confirmation of the talent of young designers that inhale life with clothing with their own imagination and current view, as well as the importance of preserving cultural heritage for future generations. 52

The exhibition presents the works of 6 students of the graduation year of the Department of clothing design, looking for inspirational sources in traditional crafts, patterns, clothing, architecture and transformed them into contemporary garments. Each of the graduates was developed by a dress model complemented by posters with information and sketches, four color designs, material test and technical documentation. Gajdošová and Alena Mayer.
