Another evening with live music in the bistro joy.
Look forward to the traditional modern free-jazz! Quadrato supra are drums and whistles performed by Elia Morreti (drums, percussion, vibraphon), Zdeněk Závodné (saxophones) and Michal Hrubý (clarinets). In addition, drinks, draft beer, great wine, our charming lemonades and food from American and Asian cuisine by our Chef Zdenda, including the famous Asian PORK Belly Burger and Thai vegetarian Curry.
👉na who can you look forward to?
👉elia Moretti is a performer, composer, percussion player and researcher focused on cultural anthropology through ecological perception of sound. He is particularly interested in how the sound could contribute to a change in the experience of the performance, and the ways in which artistic procedures participate in the context (social reasons) from which they are based or react to. He plays in various music ensembles, but prefers radical and experimental chamber music.
In the past, he dealt with sound installations in which he often converted light into sound and vice versa and manipulated electronic images with sound. He works in the freejazzcore trio FRISK, in the Czech-Slovak band Srnka, in the duo Tamabas with trumpeter and electronics player Petr Vrba. Since 2013 he has been cooperating with the Prague improvisation orchestra. He is the artistic director of the Pardubice Theater 29. In 2015–2019 he was the dramaturge of the Jazz Goes to Town festival in Hradec Králové. He started in a big beat band of a skeleton pig, then established and led the groups of theneye party and captain Kayman. Since 2009 he has been involved in free improvisation. He currently works in several bands (Romanovská Tichý Hrubý, Fahrzavö, Quadrata Supro, Duo Drtina Hrubý…). He hosted in the Berg orchestra. He was a dramaturge of the Dobrška Gate festivals and in Loukov near Music and cooperates on the program of the cultural summer at the Castle Dobrohoř. He cooperated and cooperates with Gary Lucas, Klaus Kugel, Hana Blažíková, Mikoláš Chadima,
Vratislav Brabenec and others.
