About event
Jazz Christmas -
Lightning, a lit Christmas tree, fragrant mulled wine, maybe even homemade Christmas desserts - and live jazz music by the TRADITIONAL & REVIVAL BAND orchestra with the legendary trombonist Vlad Vizár. A bit of holiday nostalgia, but also energy from the arrival of something new. Get to know this exceptional jazz project also in a more intimate, spiritual location, with a repertoire adapted for this certainly unrepeatable experience.
In cooperation and co-organization with DK Lúka Petržalka, we invite you to a pre-Christmas jazz concert and social evening with the TRADITIONAL & REVIVAL BAND orchestra, which will be held on Friday, December 5, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. "Malej sále" Domu kultúry Juh.

The repertoire of the orchestra continues to document jazz between traditional, Dixieland, swing, and mainstream, and we will also include more modern JazzCool and Jazz Latino music in the program, which is played relatively little in Slovakia today traditional jazz, and the atmosphere of small swing formations with the guitar. And when the guitar takes over the melodic line together with the clarinet, saxophone and trombone, the orchestra receives the sound of the East Coast combs of the 50s. word,
