How to establish trust and a quality therapeutic relationship with transgender people? Our half-day course will give you a practical introduction to the basics of working with trans, non-binary and gender-diverse people in therapeutic practice and counseling services.
The course will be conducted interactively. We provide you with a deeper understanding of the specifics and needs of trans and gender diverse people. We will be based on anonymized stories processed in case studies, years of experience of lecturers and personal experience. We will go through basic concepts and information for a better understanding of the circumstances that gender diverse people go through or face.
You will learn the principles of sensitive and respectful communication and we will also offer you practical recommendations. Space will also be given to your questions regarding the appropriate care of trans and non-binary clientele in your work context. >Venue: Železná 18, Prague 1 (Community Center Prague Pride)
