Transformative Writing for Women
Event by: Offenes Wohnzimmer
Location: Offenes Wohnzimmer, Waldenserstraße 13, Berlin - Mitte
About event
"Who am I and who am I with you? Who are you and what do I see in you? What could become of us?" An empathetic dialogue. Perceive boundaries. Explore the unknown. Try alternative “I’s”. With curiosity, with openness. A space for our stories in transformation. This writing workshop offers women a creative framework in which we celebrate our different yet shared beings and encourage each other to develop our potential through action.

I am: Joana (she/her). musician. Cultural scientist with a focus on literary studies. Since February 2024, training as a naturopath for psychotherapy. Through various positive experiences as a participant in (writing) circles for women and attending seminars and workshops offline and online with great interest, the heartfelt desire has now arisen to open and lead such a space at a local level - and in a creative form. American speaker and author Peggy Tabor Millin sums up my own experiences and processes with the following reflection: "We don't have to analyze ourselves or dig up memories or work on self-improvement. We just have to be willing to learn who we are and what the depths of our soul really want and need to express. As we share our writing in a safe circle, we learn to trust this process and therefore ourselves."
