About event
Transglobal Underground will come to the popular Danube Music Day series to Bratislava
The Position of Concerts for 2025 does not end! We proclaim the British club legend Transglobal Underground, which will play a concert in Randdal Club (YMCA). The audience can expect exotic tools, bass and large dance energy. During their work, dance music with World Music, Hiphop and Oak gradually converged. The birth of Transglobal Underground is associated with Tim Whelan and Hamilton Lee aka Hamid Manta, who worked on the Newmore scene as DJs as DJ. As a free project of producers who collaborated with stars such as Natach Atlas, Johnny Kalsi and Nick Pag, Transglobal underground has established themselves on the global scene and enriched it with their original music mix of Asian, African, Arab music.
Their albums such as Dream of 100 Nations, International Times, Psychic Karaoke and Rejoice Rejoice, which formed the British club scene, also sounded original. In them they brought a combination of dance beat with exotic tools such as Sitara or DHOL (percussion). Tim and Hamil also made remixes of the albanian band Fanfara Tirana, with whom they recorded the album Kabatronics, who was a cross of the Albanian instrumental style "Kaba" and electronics.
The last album was released in 2020 under the name Walls Have Ears, where also played musicians - bass guitarist Nick Dubula, Perkusist Tuup, Brand Larry Whelan, Table player and DHOL RAVA Neiyyara. Transglobal Underground again proved that they have the power to create a song with a true London atmosphere that pulsates ethnic rhythms and club beats. Although they do not play a lot of concerts during the year, they will fly directly from London! 20.03.2025; Randal Club, Bratislava
