About event
⚡️ Dear friends, we cordially invite you to a full -time program in which we approach the nature, dreams and goals of transhumanism. In a series of three lectures, which will be heard from the mouth of Emil Páleš, Vlad Lobotka and Lukáš Karas, we will discuss transhumanism from spiritual and scientific and technological positions. We will assess both directions philosophically, the optics of religion and deep psychology, reflect their background and portray the far -reaching impact of both concepts on society, nature and human self -concept. We will show differences in strategies and methods with which they approach today's systemic challenges and outline the scenarios of the future, both of these civilization models. All of this will be present at the end through a systemic constellation facilitated Lenka Palatová.
⚡️ Emil Paleš: What new person should be created? Instead of a healthy fire of love rising from within, a person begins to refine from outside, using a unilaterally focused mind. However, such interventions only imprisoned the human spirit in a foreign body and are directed to a subcurrent rather than a superman. Who are we and who do we want to turn into? Every philosophy is a self -doubt that we shape and change. The historical match between transhumanism and bioconservatism began. Who is right? What will the geldes and unintended side consequences of these concepts will be? Will freedom be preserved or will it be lost? And why do we improve man artificially when we have not yet used our natural potential in this respect? > Every civilization is a manifestation of a great civilization story that satsses aspiration of its members by specific understanding of good, truth and beauty, and in various areas of human activity creates its innumerable theoretical and practical applications. Our modern civilization is based on a story that has constantly attempted - not very successful - combine romantic idealism, based on the organism's metaphor, with Enlightenment rationalism based on the machine's metaphor. Complex dialectics between the two streams eventually leaned in favor of mechanical rationalism, and it was the multidimensional consequences of its blanket dominance that brought our civilization to the systemic crisis that we face today. If we decide to ignore this crisis, the most likely result will be a collapse. However, there is also a possibility to transform, which is called two influential civilization stories, each emphasizing the need for man in its present form. What distinguishes them radically is the metaphysical framework in which they are set, the purpose for which they direct and the means by which they try to achieve their goals. One builds on the spiritual, the other on the technological concept of the "superman". How does each of these two metapheres understand man and his creative potential? How does it interpret the existing journey of humanity across time? And how does he work with the main civilization challenges of our time? It is these aspects that are crucial to understand how different the future awaits us in each of these scenarios.
⚡️ Lukáš Karas: superman, cyborg and God - horizons of transhumanism
The divine aspirations of man must be taken seriously! As Mirce Eliade pointed out correctly, the human species is the desire for paradise and exceeding the human destiny. Various myths from all over the world reveal that man has always longed for redemption, paradise, state of enlightenment, kingdom of heaven, in short, to up above the level of his momentary state. In mystical doctrines, one should have reconnected at the end of the time, to get out of the heavens or to realize the fascinating potential of the cosmic man. According to Pierre Teilhard Chardin, the evolution of all nature and the cosmic movement culminates in the point of Omega, in the final incarnation of Christ's consciousness. As a variety of thinkers notice properly, one has projected this own potential for the future and intends to realize it by various means. To do this, he used the technique he developed depending on the ideal he wanted to achieve. In this way, for example, the East, seeking enlightenment, invented yoga and tantra techniques. The general focus of spiritual techniques is the transcendental vertical. On the other hand, a modern man in accordance with the materialistic worldview reflects his own potential horizontally. For this reason, he intends to exceed humanity technologically. For example, they believe in achieving immortality by genetic engineering or penetrating into virtual dimension through Avatar from Meta. In short, in modern myths we find echoes of traditional spiritual ideas. His faith in the endless transformation of himself sophisticated by the sophisticated means of science denies any nature and natural conditionality and finds an expression in psychological self-deigning through drugs and psychopharmaceuticals.
