"Trawy i Kamenie"

"Trawy I Kamienie" ("grasses and stones") are the three versatile musicians Emilia Niezbecka from Poland - Singing, violin, Tholki - Zhenja Oks from Ukraine - Singing, guitar, bouzouki - and Stefan Ziemer from Germany - Saxophone - who have found their way in Berlin to offer their international lyric settings together. Her songs arise from poems in Polish, German, Russian and Portuguese, and they tell of dreams, animals and shadows. The variety of texts is also reflected in the music, which is influenced by jazz and world music, folk and chanson, classical and songwriters. And the compositions leave space for spontaneity and joy of experimentation, for situational and intuitive variations that make every concert a unique experience.
