This summer will also bring the European Capital of Culture Trenčín 2026 to the Pohoda festival a good dose of cultural experience! The bands will enrich the festival music program with its unique energy and international context. Disobedience

📣 Come to discuss how art can enter public space, promote active citizenship and open the topics of solidarity and care. The art program of the European Capital of Culture Trenčín 2026 will be discussed by: Director of the Creative Institute Trenčín Stanislav Krajči, artist and curator Ilona Németh and couple Fero Király and Eva Vozárová from the OOO Association. The work of the disobedience archive, which is part of the Visual Stage, will be introduced by its founder Marco Scotini and the discussion will be opened by Michal Kaščák, Festival director Pohoda.

📽️ Visual Stage - Disobedience Archive
Disobedience Archivedisedisedisedience Archive is a multi -phase, mobile and constantly evolving video archives that focuses on the relationship between artistic practices and political action. It has been introduced fifteen times in different countries and has always been transformed without taking the final form. Whether in the form of parliament, school or community garden, the project transforms the archive - usually static and taxonomic - into dynamic and generative media. (Marco Scotini)
This site-specific exhibition project in Slovakia will be presented for the first time at the Pohoda 2025 festival. It is a cooperation of the Pohoda festival with the European Capital of Culture Trenčín 2026 project, and the exhibition is divided into two phases. Installation and its architectural and curatorial concept are prepared by a joint team composed of Marco Scotini, Ilona Németh, Edit András and Zbyněk Baladrán, for both phases- for both Trenčín 2026.

In 2024, Disobedience Archive was part of the Biennial in Venice, where he introduced himself in the full forty film version. It is this larger form that will be presented in 2026 by the City of Trenčín within the project European Capital of Culture Trenčín 2026.

- On the album of the world, in 10 traditional songs from 6 different countries, the current creation of the vocal group is reflected. Vigible chants intertwine on the recordings with the contributions of several guests - harp, beatbox, percussion or cello players. Together they create a varied musical experience full of creeping moments, but also passionate outbursts. Group NEHA! It was chosen as part of the Garage project in cooperation with the European Capital of Culture Trenčín 2026.

Oulun_keskusta is an extremely centrist saxophone-bicie trio from Toppily in the Finnish ouul, mixing punk and jazz into style called FIs. The band consists of original music and its own arrangements and has two EPs, including the latest one called Pihlajakat. It will perform thanks to cooperation with the European capital of Oulu 2026 and Trenčín 2026.

in 2024, the disobedience of archive was part of the Venice Biennale, WHERE IT WAS Forty-Film Version. It is precisely this more extensive format that will be presented in 2026 in the city of Trenčín as part of the European Capital of Culture Trenčín 2026 Project.
