About event
We invite you to a travel evening in which we will present you two journeys from completely different worlds. In the first one, Nika and Nana will take you to fulfill your childhood dream of a campervan on a trip along the coast of Southern Europe. In the second, you will answer questions with them, whether it is still worth going to Bali and why?!

18:00 Matej Peluha - How I was kidnapped in Sudan
We cross the border illegally, sleep in the Yidda refugee camp and enter the Nuba Mountains, where people cut off from the rest of the world are trying to survive in the middle of the ongoing war. You simply cannot go to Sudan now, but we will try at least to the separatist region of Kordofan through the land border. We will spend days with the tribes and get to know the region cut off from the world by war.
Then we will head to South Sudan - a country where traditions have been preserved in an almost pure form. We will meet the Mundari tribe, living in close connection with their cattle and with rituals that have no parallel: from intimate blowing into the cows' vaginas to the cleansing rain of urine flowing over their bodies. Finally, we will take a boat across the Sudd Swamp and visit the Swamp Dinka, living on tiny islands hidden in the reeds. A raw, strong and authentic journey that gets under the skin.

Nika and Nana fulfilled their childhood dream of a camper van. They packed a few things, jams and a cat, and for almost 5 months they became nomads in the true sense of the word. Little did they know that their first big trip in a camper van would be tested by the worst and rainiest winter in southern Europe in the last 10 years.
The beauty of the Cabo de Gata National Park in the eastern corner of Andalusia slowed them down the most, they spent the least time in famous big cities like Valencia and Barcelona. They will come to tell you about the beauty of the Spanish Costa de la Luz, the Portuguese Algarve, coastal tourism and Moorish history, but also about the functioning and life in a camper van with a cat on board(s).
Come and be inspired by a journey that you can take with a little time and courage. You wouldn't believe that even Europe offers such great adventures!
