The staged reading of the final texts is the culmination of the Drama 2024 competition for the best original dramatic text in the Slovak and Czech language.
The jury awarded three of them - the authors and authors (in the alphabetical order of texts):

Trueboy was created twenty -four years ago as an attempt to introduce the final reading texts of the drama - competition of the original Slovak and Czech dramatic texts since 2010. Since 2005, the triathlon has been held as part of the New Drama/New Drama festival. The organizers of the Drama 2024 competition are the theater Institute, the Drama of the Slovak National Theater, the Ján Palárik Theater in Trnava, the Jozef Gregor Tajovský Theater in Zvolen, the Jorik of the Jorik of the Puppet Theater of the Košice Region, Drama National Theater (Prague, Czech Republic) and Studio 12, Theater Platform Institute. The partner of the competition is Slovak Television and Radio - Radio Devín. The ambition of the event is to stimulate the interest of viewers in contemporary dramatic work while refreshing the way of its staging. The final texts will be presented by the creative team through a short staged snippet. This year will also be a discussion with authors and authors, creators of staged reading excerpts of the final texts and with the expert jury of the Drama 2024 competition on the possibilities and limits of Slovak and Czech contemporary drama or dramatic competitions as such.
