DRAMA COURSE FOR YOUTH / Three-month acting and personality development course for youth

🔹Developing self-confidence and communication skills through drama techniques
🔹Dramatic techniques are a powerful tool for developing social and emotional skills in young people. In our courses, we guide teenagers to discover the power of self-expression and creation through theatre. In this way, we help them become more attentive, understand their parents or classmates more and feel more confident in society.
🔹Main goals of the course:
🔹Increasing attention: Dramatic activities develop attention and listening, which leads
to better understanding and cooperation between participants.
🔹Freeing creativity: Dramatic exercises provide space for personal and
collective creativity, thereby helping young people to feel freer and more
courageous.
🔹Development of social skills: Drama techniques promote better communication and
understanding between participants, which leads to better social interaction outside the
course environment.
🔹Reducing stage fright: Drama activities help participants overcome stage fright,
which is often associated with public speaking (for example at school) and by interacting with
others.
🔹Results:
After participating in our courses, teenagers often tell us that they feel increased courage when answering at school, they learn to better understand their parents or classmates. These courses provide them with attention, freedom and room for development, which allows them to build stronger social ties and better cope with the daily challenges that face them in this fragile period when their personality is being formed. We are opening a new group in 2026.
During the course, students have the opportunity to develop their communication and presentation skills, learn to manage stage fright and acquire the ability to present themselves in public. Students are able to recognize their abilities and develop them further.
During the course, we place great emphasis on the participants becoming more familiar with the works of world-famous playwrights, such as: Shakespeare, Moliere, Goldoni, Ibsen, Chekhov...
🔹IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
Course start: January 17, 2026 (Saturday) 1 p.m. hours
Duration of the course: 3 months (1 x 2 hours per week, every week on Saturdays from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.)
Ceremony at the end of the course (performance)
HAPPENS ON SATURDAY: April 25, 2026 (Saturday) at 3:00 p.m.
🔹ATTENTION! February, February 21 and April 4, due to the spring holidays and Easter holidays, it does not take place, which of course will not affect the number of meetings. Since it is important for us that each participant gains as much knowledge as possible during the courses and has beautiful experiences, the last 2 sessions will be extended by an hour to make up for any delays. The team of the Meteorit Theater reserves the right to change the venue specified in the invitation (Školská 14, 81107 Bratislava) to other areas of the Meteorit Theater located in the center of Bratislava.
