About event
The Trolia Farma exhibition uses the metaphorical language of art to respond to the issue of misinformation that is increasingly radicalizing the world and robbing us of the freedom we have fought for for years.
In the past, artists had an extraordinary ability to foresee the future and create utopias. Today, they talk less and less about utopias and have often completely resigned to their visionary projects under the burden of everyday life. In the glass container of the architect Oliver Kleinert in Bratislava's Karlová Ves, we will present the work of authors who are not indifferent to the future of the planet, of humanity, but also of the art scene.
The TROLIA FARMA exhibition will talk about hoaxes, conspiracies and misinformation that subtly but all the more radically reshape the world in which we live. The hybrid war created by troll farms and amplified by social network algorithms affects not only public space, the quality of life, but directly threatens human lives.
The gallery space will be a free interpretation of the troll workplace. The exhibition playfully and with a touch of irony comments on selected aspects of social and political life in Slovakia.
Under the name Troll Factory, it premiered at Stadtische Galerie KUBUS in Hannover, Germany, as part of the Mediations Biennale in September 2025.
