TSWILE.FILM Summer Tour 2026

The summer screening of the feature-length debut film of the 15-year-old director - The Summer When I Lost Everyone is coming to eastern Slovakia. A film evening combined with a discussion with the authors and creators of this work will take place on July 3 in Košice. An intimate story about growing up, about the relationships between parents and children, about the search for answers to life's questions and one summer that will remain in a person forever.

The film follows 17-year-old student Lucas (Jakub Horák), who has his head in the clouds and is afraid to live in the present moment. Instead of his parents, he grows up with his grandmother Daša (Nina Kočanová). After thirteen years, he comes to the countryside to visit his estranged father Peter (Matej Landl). Their relationship is cold, so Lucas is taken care of by his father's nanny Lenka (Silvia Soldanová), who tries to bring father and son closer together. However, Lucas finds refuge in a new group of friends with Charlotta (Viktória Holkovičová), Zora (Esther Pilátová) and Matias (Samuel Klinovský). They are connected to Charlotte by more than just friendship. Although she leaves things to chance, they are both looking for answers to certain life questions. Their different views on life will be united by fate. But can Lucas find his way to his father, Charlotte and especially to himself? The plot of the film is slower, but it resonates with those who can feel the emotions beneath the surface.
