The author, currently living in Switzerland, presented his work not only in his native Bucharest, but also in Amsterdam, Paris, or Basel. Tudor connects traditional art-historical and philosophical themes, responds to the challenges of the future, and finally glosses all this with the use of pop culture phenomena and their visual codes. He can brilliantly interpret the unique, colorful range of symbols that surrounded the generation of the nineties. That is, now almost thirty-somethings, whose lives have been shaped by the Internet and its bottomless rabbit holes for most (but not all) of their lives.
It brings two different segments to Galeria SibiΕ, in chronological order, which is universally given. His main medium, i.e. object creation, is represented by an armed cherub and the iconic building of the Brno crematorium, which strongly inspired the author within the concept of the exhibition complex. These represent the beginning and the end, perhaps even good and evil, but definitely two opposites that cannot function without each other. The filling between the two ends is made up of a series of airbrush paintings that communicate contemporary and timeless themes. Familiar symbols, shrouded in a monochromatic fog that makes them a little less noisy.
HERUVIM is a long-awaited exhibition by a foreign author in the Husovice off space, and although the author is increasingly recognized as a creator on the international scene, he accepted the offer for the exhibition as a challenge and prepared a series tailored for Brno.
Let's celebrate together the beginning of dark, late autumn days in the spirit of post-internet, dystopia, but also well-aimed humor and exaggeration.
We look forward to seeing you!
The event takes place with financial support the city of Brno.

Tudor combines traditional art with historical and philosophical themes, responds to the challenges of the future, and then glosses all this using pop culture phenomena and their visual codes. He is able to brilliantly interpret the unique, diverse range of symbols that surrounded the generation of the 1990s. That is to say, the now almost 30-somethings who have spent most of their lives (but not quite all of them) being led down the internet and its bottomless rabbit holes.
