About event
A production by the guest Wandering Theatre.
Zuzanka, don't cry - a comedy that transports you to the world of a Slovak town in the first half of the 20th century. Specifically, to Prešpork, full of mysterious streets, alleys, strange corners, where the hustle and bustle of the big city reaches from Vienna, but also from Budapest. A simple but very talented girl from the East, Zuzanka, is coming here by train. She has only one dream, she wants to become a painter. Graduate from art school. But women in those years did not have an easy time with their studies. Zuzanka experiences life in the artistic community of bohemians, the malice of her own family, which pretends not to know her, finds new friends and loves. But she really succeeds in fulfilling what she longs for…. A great romantic comedy with songs that smell of the era, as if they were brought by F. K. Veselý.
